St Marks, Haydock

St Mark’s Haydock is a vibrant church at the heart of the local community, with a heart for the wider region. Our heritage is of people meeting with God and being impacted to pioneer new and creative ways of living missionally.

  • We prioritise the life of discipleship and mission.
  • We pursue life giving relationship with God.
  • We practise the Kingdom responsibility of loving our neighbour.
  • We are facing the challenge of change in the church for the transformation of society.
  • We are raising the next generation of leaders.
  • We are disciples who Live In, Live Up, Live Out.
  • We are the family of God on mission.

Haydock is situated between Liverpool and Manchester and is part of a whole exciting urban area with lots to do, we are also just a short walk from beautiful countryside. St. Helens is built on industry and coal mining, it is down to earth and straight talking, a great place to learn and be both encouraged and challenged. As well as receiving fantastic teaching and discipleship the practical outworking of your Form journey could be working in one of our growing and developing ministries with kids, youth, families, worship or community outreach.

Form Haydock is led by:

Bec Hill – Bec has been part of the team at St Marks for nearly 2 years and part of the church for around 8 years. She is married to Justin and they have 2 little girls Bea (6) and Belle (3). Bec is involved with children, youth, young adults and families and loves to see the next generation stepping into their god given gifts. She loves chocolate, shopping and all things girlie.

Andy Baker – Andy is married to Hayley with their first child on the way. He is a new curate who has experienced what it’s like to be invested in by older Christians and is therefore passionate about equipping young leaders to answer the call God has placed on their lives. When he isn’t doing that he loves good design, watching films, plays and a good box-set as well as a bit of baking.
